Furniture in Living Room

We now have the furniture in the living room that we ordered from Lazy Boy.  There are only a few things to finish up the project.

We are working on decorations and getting everything in it's right place. In addition, we are looking at furniture for the theater area in the Living Room

The big move in

About 6 guys came to breakfast today and helped us move into the new area.  The cars are now in the garage for the night for the first time in months.  This all was just in time for the first good rain that we have had since July.

It is starting to look like a home again

We even turned on the fireplace and warmed up the new rooms - it worked great.  We can now watch Penn State, IU and our favorite teams in high def.  Our journey is drawing to a close :).  Now just curtains, wall hangings, etc.

The rug is in, the blinds are going up and books on the shelves

We recently received our certificate of occupancy.  So, we have started to install the things that we do ourselves and had the rug put in!

We also watched our first Colts game on our new TV!

After Abby - Landscape and Fireplaces

Cathy and I were gone for most of the week visiting our new granddaughter Abby, Laurie, and Mike in the UP of Michigan.

While we were gone, our granddaughter Hanna was born to Scott and Deb in Ohio

While we gone, our good friend Gary Henry continued the work on the house and completed the landscaping and the fireplaces.

Great progress in a week

I was gone last week and so this post is a bit of a catchup.  There were three major things accomplished:  the painting and staining is complete, the outside is rough graded and the flower beds are in place, and the hard wood floor is in.
